P2P Interview with Kate Gilmore, Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights: Leave no one behind
“ The Peer to Peer video series features interviews with senior leaders in the humanitarian field, in view of capturing best practices from field operations. In this interview, Kate Gilmore, Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, talks about the “Leave no one behind” initiative, a core responsibility of the Agenda for Humanity and one of the key targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). It means reaching everyone and empowering all women, men, girls and boys, minority groups, groups with specific needs etc. to be agents of positive transformation. This includes taking into consideration Human Rights in humanitarian action, for example through the Human Rights Up Front.
